Ruffle Rectangle & Square Tablecloth - Asparagus Green

Gorgeous tablecloth! Many compliments from friends. It is so hard to find pretty tablecloths for my large table! Thank you Ridhi Block Print!

As I do not have my dinner table set up from a recent move, I could not take a picture of this block print table cloth in its intended setting. So - I got inventive and placed it on my bed coverlet as a decorative element on my bed with other block print pillows. I had no idea, how beautiful that would turn out - and I am inclined to use this tablecloth exclusively in my bedroom setting. 😁 A large tablecloth like this (I ordered the 120 x 60” size) lends itself for a picnic bench outside, however, if you use something this beautiful, I would suggest a clear protective cover over the cloth. Outside food events tend to get messy.If this tablecloth appeals to you, you probably like everything country and farmhouse in your decor. Pair this with the ancient art of block print, you get a unique, artisan decor item that is not just functional and pretty, but you also support the small family businesses that work together with Indian workshops who still practice this art form. Times change. We are living in a fast paced world, but not much has changed in the production of block printing (except for the dyes which are synthetic nowadays for colorfastness and to prevent bleeding). The stamps that are dipped into the dyes are still the traditional hand carved blocks, and you get the authentic inconsistencies of a hand made item.I have other block print items from Ridhi in the asparagus green motif. The main colors used in this print are blues and greens, however, the brain, when looking at it, wants to translate the color palette more into the blue spectrum than the green due to the blues congealing into the large floral heads, while the greens are used for the more scattered foliage depiction. It’s a beautiful combination that can go equally with other block print motifs and complements either blue or green decor.As always, the sewing job on all items from Rhidi is superior. Seams are straight and stitches well secured. We are dealing with a pure cotton product, so be aware of the shrinking while laundering. I machine wash my cotton items in cold/delicate wash cycles and air dry to prevent further shrinking in a dryer. Then, it’s a labor of love, to hand iron the cloth. I would suggest to wash block print items separately, for I have experienced some color bleeding onto other laundry items in the first wash. Shrinkage of the tablecloth translated to an overall 2“ in width and 4“ in length, producing a116 x 58” table covering.If the aesthetic of this cloth appeals to you, you will love this high quality hand made decor item as much as I do.

Very pretty colors in this table cloth. Love the big ruffle around the bottom. Washed nicely and I didn’t notice any shrinkage. Size was accurate. Good quality material. Looks more expensive than it was.

Colors look lovely with our traditional, transitional, grand millennial with a touch of MCM home.The table cloth was simple to wash and dry before using it.I find it relatively lightweight. The block print looks lovely. Both the material and weight are comparable to that of much pricier brands. Happy with the qualityIt is pleasant to sit and have breakfast at. I would totally choose again and recommend!

Price during review- $85.99Lyrically beautiful pattern on a strong, thick cotton fabric that looks stunning. The fringed edging is wider than any I've seen and lends the most stunning effect to a tablescape. I absolutely love the pattern. I had intended to add it for some spring vibes but it is so gorgeous, im keeping it on for summer. I have styled it with a cream cheesecloth runner as well as a darker blue solid runner and the effect is gorgeous with both. It is absolutely spot on to create a cottage core vibe with wicker placemats and wild flower vases. Instant home decor happiness. Totally worth the price for quality and beauty of the piece. Highly recommended.

What a fun tablecloth! This fabric washes well, releases stains with a little pre-treatment, and looks great on our table. Because it is all cotton, it does wrinkle and requires ironing, but the fabric is great quality and looks pretty on a casual table. It fit perfectly on our table, looks wonderful, and is a great value at its price point. Very highly recommended.

This is an all natural fiber, handmade and hand-printed with vegetable dye, which gives it an odor. It does need to be washed before using it to serve food on, and I use a basic powder detergent with a liquid fabric softener, then I hang dry. Drying it on the line gets rid of the wrinkles, but the ruffle is going to be a bit ungainly unless you iron it. But that's the charm of it, so I just leave it as is. Washing will shrink it a bit, but it shrinks evenly and the pattern hides a lot of stains. I plan to leave it on all spring and switch it out with the salmon pattern for the summer.The stitching is perfect and this is a very good handmade item that is worthy of handing down to the next generation. It fits my kitchen work table perfectly and well worth the money based on the quality.

I am obsessed with the RIdhi stamped products offered on Amazon. They are all superior quality that look custom made, and like you hired an artisan to curate a look for your home. I love the green asparagus base but also have items from this line in coral and peacock blue. All are unique and stunning. These are quite affordable luxury that will elevate a space instantly. I think the patterns fit in to many decor styles and if you like any hi by handmade or imported from far away lands like India, as I do, you will love this tablecloth. I may use it as a curtain. It is gorgeous! The ruffle ads such a unique touch. The cloth is thick cotton and there was no smell to my fabric (I know some people complain of a scent and it it being musty, but such is life. They are from a humid climate!) this really is just a knockout piece and you will be complimented. This tablecloth will make you famous! 🥰👌👍 Chefs kiss.

This is an absolutely beautiful tablecloth that I used on my table for Easter festivities. It is hand printed in rich colors that are so lovely. (I got the "Asparagus Green Ruffle" pattern.) It washed and dried beautifully after the party and I ironed it before putting it away for next time. It is nicely textured material and is durable enough to last for years. I have a long and wide table once all the leaves are in it and the 60"x120" fit perfectly. I love the hand made look of the tablecloth and really appreciate that it is the perfect style for my "Cottage Decor". I am likely to use it again soon, for everyday family dining, but will place a clear tablecloth over it to protect the cloth from stains. While I understand that this may well be more expensive than other tablecloths, it should be remembered that there are three reasons for that - #1. This is a hand printed and hand made 100% cotton tablecloth and is by its' very nature, a one of a kind item. #2. This is the exact opposite of the cheap, throwaway, man-made fabrics that will get tatty fast and then sit in a landfill for centuries, and #3. This is the exact opposite of "fast fashion" for your home. You will be using this cloth for the next thirty or more years, and it will still look lovely. I believe it to be an excellent investment for your money and a lovely addition to your home.

We really do need the ability to give half-stars, because this isn't a 5 for me, but it's higher than a 4. (I give a 5 star rating MAYBE once in a blue moon, because to me 5 is really outstanding and 4 is quite solid.)I hate ironing. Like a LOT. This is cotton, and there's no getting around the fact that you're going to iron this or wear your wrinkles. I especially hate ironing ruffles, but those can be steamed. I guess the whole thing could be steamed, too, but that's going to take some space (but then again so does the ironing).The colors are as expected, a little more subtle and less bright than the same pattern I've gotten in the past (not the same seller, so it's probably an aesthetic option on a common pattern). This is definitely leaning quite feminine, but in the blue and green that I got, not irredeemably so.This isn't going to be my everyday tablecloth, but I will use it a good bit -- and I may get a clear cover (yeah, classy, I know, but better than having to wash and iron this thing every time somebody dribbles) so I can use it more frequently without the fuss.My star ratings explained:5 - Outstanding intersection of price and quality, an excellent product for an excellent price. This is one of those pieces that instantly elevates a table. I already have a few items from this brand, and they consistently deliver on quality and print—and this one is no exception. This tablecloth is beautiful looking in person and the handprinted colorful design is absolutely gorgeous too. I wasn't the biggest fan of the stripped ruffle border in their pictures but it doesn't bother me as much as I thought it might now that I have seen it firsthand. This tablecloth is sewn together nicely and it washed and dried fine in my machines. This is cotton fabric so it can wrinkle fairly easily but that doesn't bother me very much. The size is perfect for fitting over a standard size folding 8ft table and I got so many compliments on it from our guests. The blue, green and white colors look great and it blends in well with other decor that we have. This would be good for covering picnic tables and other larger rectangular shaped tables and it folds up flat when I'm not using it so it would be good for camping and traveling with too. This brand makes very good quality home decor items and this ruffle tablecloth is just as nice quality as I expected it to be. This has only gotten softer every time I wash it and I would expect it to last for many years to come. Reusable, durable and beautiful cotton tablecloth that is a very helpful size to have.
