Mixed Border Napkins

I love anything with a block print and and these towels/napkins are no exception. I ordered the mixed colors which is always a roll of the dice because you don’t know which ones you’re going to get. I like all of the fabrics sent well enough, but they don’t necessarily match up to any group shown online. I bought them to use in a sewing project that will involve some quilting so I was happy with the assortment overall. I feel the price is fair in in line with other products this quality. I like the idea that you could use these as fun napkins, or cotton towels in the kitchen or bathroom. The towels did not smell of any strong chemicals. The fabric thickness was as I expected it to be and the stitching and printing was well done.

These napkins are made of 100% cotton. They are think and stiff at first, but soften after washing. Over time, they should soften even more.i chose the multicolor pack because I couldn’t decide which pattern. Seeing them in person, I still can’t decide which pattern I like best. They are all so beautiful, and the colors are vibrant. They are classic and boho and all the things that are lovely about hosting a meal and gathering friends. They beg to line baskets filled with artisan bread or serve as napkins a table filled with earthen pottery. I just adore them.

I can’t say enough about how beautiful this set of eight napkins is. Each napkin has a different pattern and color but the whole set works together and would make a beautiful table setting. They are about 20“ x 20“ which is a perfect dinner size. They’re 100% cotton, are of a decent weight and thickness with very well sewn seams, and should hold up to washing very well. Since they are cotton, maybe avoid putting them in the dryer for more than a few minutes. They are expensive, but the quality is evident and they are hand made.

Mrs Aloha Friday absolutely adores hand blocking. It's a lot like screen printing, but instead of using screens to layer each color in a design, stamps are used. She said it's a bohemian, casual look, generally speaking, but with table linens, if you layer them and add glass goblets, chargers and candles, you can achieve an elegant, exotic look if you so choose. You should know block printing doesn't stay in the lines. If you like symmetry and stay in the lines when you color, this might drive you crazy. ;o) It's carefree and lighthearted. The beauty lies in the free spirited nature of the designs. Another thing to know is that these are thin cotton. They're going to shrink and wrinkle, so be prepared to either iron them or smooth them out and dry flat. Mrs AF says if she doesn't iron cotton linens, she puts them in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes after air drying to soften them up a little so they're not stiff. Another thing you should know is these are quite thin, and she won't be using them as kitchen towels. They wouldn't be very absorbent, even after washing. She feels they're more suited to being napkins or table scarves. If you have little side tables or a boring shelf, drape these over them! I think there's no set patterns you receive; they're mixed based on availability, but Mrs AF took photos of the set we received so you could get an idea. She's into blending patterns and an "everything goes with anything" kind of philosophy. She even added a couple of additional towels in different patterns just to show you how much you can play with these, mixed in her Fiestaware dishes for those of you familiar with the colors jade, meadow, peony and crimson, and also showed you the difference between Ridhi's waffle weave kitchen towels and these cotton linens. There's also a photo of a particularly thin napkin; the others are thicker. She feels the linens are worth the investment as handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, and recommends them in the $25 ballpark. This is an absolutely beautiful set of dinner napkins, and they are generously sized. I love the unique design and difference in colors of each napkin. The quality is also excellent with the fabric being thick and clearly detailed. I would definitely recommend and purchase this item again

Very nice handmade quality, beautiful art. They are so pretty you could frame them and hang them as wall art.

I gave these and some napkin rings as a gift and the recipient has now thanked me on two separate occasions. They are really nice, great cotton fabric, they’re really pretty and while they’re all different, they go together in a whimsical and cohesive way. I hate it when you buy a gift that you really want to keep for yourself!!!

More gorgeous products from Ridhi! This is a really lovely mixed set of napkins. The size is very generous, they're proper dinner napkins rather than little ones you might use for cocktails, for example. The colors are bright and well printed, and while they're all different, they work together as a set. The fabric is crisp but soft and a good weight. They may shrink slightly if you wash them on hot, but on cool they have been just fine for me. Perfect to use for dinner parties or just to brighten your weeknight dinners up.

I got the variegated set of these napkins - the ones in different colors and patterns to go with my Fiesta ware stoneware and I love the look of the different colors of napkins with different colors of stoneware! These are beautiful! I really appreciate that everyone is hand printed with block patterns and that they are beautiful and unique. I also really love the variety in this pack because it makes for a much more interesting table with everything being harmonious but not matching! I love these so well that I am going to use them on Christmas Day. I really appreciate the quality of both the printing and the finishing. While the fabric is not thick, they are still nicely absorbent. I wouldn't use them while serving lasagna because of the fear of staining but for a meal that did not include something guaranteed to stain, I wouldn't hesitate to use them. An excellent value for the price and well worth getting to dress up the table!

The napkins are very cute. Depending on the fabric they can be thin or thick. The colors are really vibrant. I would recommend those if you don't mind having different patterns on the table (boho chic)
