Why this tablecloth works

The essentials, at a glance.

01

100% soft cotton

Breathable natural cotton with a soft touch and a beautiful drape.

02

Hand block printed

Stamped by hand with carved wooden blocks — no two pieces are exactly alike.

03

Made for special days

From everyday dinners to weddings and holidays, it turns your table into the centrepiece.

04

A size for every table

Square and rectangle sizes, from cosy 2–4 seaters to 16–18 seater tables.

Artisan Craft

How It's Made

Every piece travels through three generations of craft before it reaches your table.

Block Carved

01

Block Carved

Master craftsmen hand-carve intricate floral motifs into solid teak wood blocks. Each block takes 3–5 days to carve and can print thousands of impressions.

Hand Stamped

02

Hand Stamped

Artisans dip each block in natural pigment dyes and press it by hand onto 100% cotton fabric — one stamp at a time. No two pieces are ever identical.

Sun Dried & Set

03

Sun Dried & Set

Printed fabric is stretched and sun-dried on rooftops in Jaipur. UV light bonds the dye permanently — giving Ridhi prints their signature vibrancy that deepens with every wash.

Handcrafted in Jaipur, Rajasthan — where block printing has been practised for over 400 years.

Questions, answered before checkout.

Everything you need to know before you order.

What size tablecloth should I choose?

Measure the length and width of your table top and add twice the drop you want on each side (6–10 in is usual for everyday dining). Tap “Which size fits my table?” above the Add to cart button – it does the maths and suggests a size. The seats shown under each size are a guide.

What sizes are available?

Square and rectangle sizes from 54" × 54" up to 190" × 72" – 14 sizes in total, for tables from 2 to 18 seats. Tap “Which size fits my table?” above the Add to cart button to find yours.

Is it machine washable?

Yes. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a mild detergent, do not bleach, and tumble dry low or air dry. Iron on low while slightly damp, on the reverse side.

Are cotton tablecloths good?

Yes. Cotton tablecloths are a versatile choice for everyday dining and special occasions, especially when you want a natural look and easy care.

How is each tablecloth made?

Each tablecloth is hand block printed by artisans: wooden blocks are carved with the motif, the cotton is stamped by hand, and the fabric is then finished and stitched. Small variations in the print are a natural part of the craft.

Is it a good gift?

Absolutely. A hand block printed cotton tablecloth makes a thoughtful housewarming, wedding or holiday gift – practical, machine washable and made to be used and loved.

Timeless prints, occasional perks.

Mr Aloha Friday
Like a piece of artwork, unique and special. You get a genuine, one of a kind.

Mrs Aloha Friday absolutely adores hand blocking and has a lot of it. I really like it too. Understanding what it is will help you appreciate this beautiful, one-of-a-kind work. It's a lot like screen printing, but instead of using screens to layer each color in a design, large, wooden block stamps are used. She said if you like symmetry and stay in the lines when you color, this might drive you crazy. ;o) The designs don't stay in the lines like machine printing does. It's imperfect and handmade, carefree and lighthearted. The beauty lies in the free spirited nature of the designs, blemishes and all.She said it's a bohemian, casual look, generally speaking, but with table linens, if you layer them and add glass goblets, chargers and candles, you can achieve an elegant, exotic look if you so choose. If you want a thick, fancy, lined tablecloth, Mrs AF loves those too and has plenty of them. This is different. She says it's perfect for warm, sunny weather or a cool Fall day, casual to fine dining depending on how you dress the table. It's pure cotton and unlined. It's lightweight but well made, not cheap looking at all. When you turn it over, you'll see the ink has gone through the cotton, which is how you know it's genuine hand blocking compared to digital printing. There's a lot of cheap, fake stuff out there, just printed copies of block printing. This is the real deal, and you have an heirloom piece that isn't like anyone else's in the world. As it is cotton, it will shrink and wrinkle when washed, so be prepared to either iron it or smooth it out and air dry flat. You can put it in the dryer if you have a no-heat air fluff cycle. Mrs AF air dries it flat, then once it's dry she puts it in the dryer on low heat for a few minutes to soften and fluff up a little so it's not stiff. The relaxed look of washed cotton is also part of the charm. The pattern you see is Oak Brown, in the 60" square size. There wasn't a round option, but this works perfectly on our 30" round kitchen table because the ruffled edge is rounded. Mrs AF feels the shape adds interest and drapes beautifully, you just have to make the 4 corners hang evenly all around. The brown is like a light cocoa. Warm, but not red. She took lots of photos of other textiles, like a redder brown pillow, to show you the difference and show how you can mix patterns. The photos of the block printed cloth napkins are also made by Ridhi. Ironically, she's been a big fan of the brand and had bought several pieces long ago. There are tons of patterns to choose from, and if you like the maximalist style, she said this is a great way to incorporate multiple designs and colors. It's truly a work of art!

Love this tablecloth. The taupe and cream colors are perfect for this coming fall. And the block floral with stripe is perfect. Great quality and workmanship. Arrive in a timely manner.

Brown and white tablecloth is gorgeous thin cotton, with a wide ruffle

The Oak part of this is the brown color, not the pattern. The pattern of this beautiful tablecloth is of flowers and leaves. It contrasts with the stipes on the ruffle. The ruffle is notably wide. Everything is all cotton, beautiful and natural to touch. It will require ironing if you want it to be perfect. I like that it can be washed and dried, I like the wrinkles. But that is just me. It is lightweight, despite the volume of the ruffles. This looks beautiful with plain white dishwear.

Flouncy Table Topper

This is a well-made and attractive tablecloth. The stated dimensions are correct and it covered a small square table prettily. The fabric is a nice weight of cotton and relatively smooth so that the true block printing leaves nice, crisp impressions. I chose the brown which is nice, medium toned color skewing warm which I prefer. The brown helps this cloth present as a neutral, and balances the overly feminine founce of the deep ruffle. One color block printing is not as pretty as two colors or more so this reads as fairly plain. It is well priced and arrived nicely packaged with no odd odors or debris.
